Flexible Medical’s Installs Third Cleanroom In Lancaster,UK
Flexible Medical Ltd has completed the installation of its third cleanroom at the Lancaster site. This increases the capacity of this highly successful expanding healthcare packaging company.
Medical packaging is a specialised industry and all pharmaceutical packaging has to be completed in state if the art cleanrooms. Flexible Medical new cleanroom is a dedicated 10,000 Class cleanroom which houses a pharmaceutical vertical sachet manufacturing machine for the packaging of licensed products.
This new cleanroom demonstrates Flexible Medical’s commitment to producing world class pharmaceutical contract packaging as well as developing its excellent sachet packaging operation. They already have two high-tech cleanrooms, one of which is a massive 4000 sq ft Class 100,000 clean room.
The products from the new cleanroom will output to a secondary packing operation housed in a dedicated White Room environment. Attention to detail is at the heart of everything that Flexible Medical do and it is why their medical packaging is among the best in the world.
The new unit can be used to pack low viscosity fluids, gels and wipes of different sizes. These are products that the general public take for granted. When someone buys a gel from a chemist in a sachet they do not think of the technological skill that has gone in to producing the pharmaceutical packaging.
Nor should they in a sense as all they are interested in are the medical properties that the product will give to them. But without the world class healthcare packaging that companies like Flexible Medical produce these products would not be as effective.
Flexible Medical is a Lancaster based company who have been involved in pharmaceutical contract packaging for over twenty years. They are happy to produce bespoke medical packaging solutions for companies that want to outsource their healthcare packaging.
They don’t though just offer pharmaceutical packaging services. FMP will offer a complete service to clients who have a new product. Their pharmaceutical packaging experts can help with package design, print the packaging and undertake the packaging operations.
All their operations are quality assured and given the legislation that governs healthcare packaging you need a medical packaging company that you can trust. All their laboratories are overseen by the Regulatory Affairs Manager whose job it is to ensure that all the pharmaceutical packaging produced conforms to the regulations.
